  • 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM ET
  • Flagship Session 1

Straight talk, reality check - how do we keep the lights on in an uncertain world?

Session Overview: Energy security is once again a top global priority. While clean energy is accelerating, leaders must balance the demands of today’s fossil-based system with the realities of building tomorrow’s low-carbon grid. The challenge is no longer whether to transition, but how to do it at the speed, scale, and reliability required.

Discussion Questions

  • What will it take to ensure clean power scales fast enough to strengthen energy security, and where is this already happening?
  • What kind of transformation is required to deliver energy security and decarbonization at speed, and are current strategies anywhere close?
  • Where should leaders be willing to take the biggest hit right now—price, pace, political capital, or reliability—to move the transition forward?

Strengthening energy security and resilience through demand-side innovation, grid flexibility, and building decarbonization.
